“Fivefold Ministry: Apostle” by Dr. Jené Walker

Apostles, how are you going to equip the people of God for their destiny? Which systems will you establish? Which territory will you conquer? Have your started your business-ministry model? You don’t have to be in an office to have this anointing and gifting on your life. You can be principal or hospital administrator or music producer and still you would operate in your apostolic gift. But remember, you have a greater calling than just your career. You have a kingdom calling. It’s time to seek God for creative ways to establish the kingdom for such a time as this. Then wait to hear what He says. Jené Walker

“Fivefold Ministry: Prophet” by Dr. Jené Walker

Prophets, as we wind down in this month of January, what are you hearing God say? We just crossed over “21” Days in the first month of 2017. Is God speaking to you about the awakening? Revival? Is God speaking to you around the biblical prophesy unfolding in government? In imposing nations? What is the Word for the people, specifically Hebrew Israelites around end times prophecy in Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Amos, Zechariah, and Revelation? How will you facilitate making sure people respond to the voice of God?

Stay humble because we are flesh. We don’t always hear perfectly but it takes humility to acknowledge that we didn’t. Also, every prophetic word isn’t meant for the masses. Can God trust you not to speak until He says so or often times not at all? One office that God says will die (stabbed by their parents) if they even admit to the office is that of a “false” prophet. This is a serious mantle. Pray for wisdom and discernment. If you don’t hear, don’t speak. Jené Walker

“Fivefold Ministry: Pastor” by Dr. Jené Walker

Calling all those with a heart of a pastor (a heart we all should have)! What encouraging words do you have for the flock? What needs have you assessed that we have? How will you take care of the people of God? So many of us are hurting, even from church hurt. We need healing. What is your divine plan? Also, how will you nurture the flock and prepare individuals for their own individual assignments? What systems are in place to grow and develop five fold ministry leaders within your flock? How can you cultivate the gifts in the sheep? How will you make sure the focus is beyond the four walls and about the kingdom of God? Is every initiative focus in the area of evangelism? What is the plan for reaching the unchurched? Jené Walker

“Fivefold Ministry: Evangelist” by Dr. Jené Walker

Evangelists, how will you make sure to hang out with unbelievers more to spread the gospel of Jesus? The message may include the avoidance of hell but it most definitely includes making disciples for Jesus Christ. The message must be that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. You’re always finding creative ways of making Jesus the topic of conversation. When you make disciples, they make disciples. Each saved one must be used to save one. How will you teach new converts to be the salt and the light. Are you planning mission trips? What is the plan for us to better be salt and light? We have 100,000,000 unbelievers in the USA. Where are the unreached areas in the USA? How do we infiltrate those areas do evangelize? How do we address corporate unbelievers, market place unbelievers, imprisoned unbelievers, political unbelievers, gang affiliated unbelievers? How do we keep the message but change the methodology to relate to each group? How are you relying on Holy Spirit to guide you in evangelism? Jené Walker

“Fivefold Ministry: Teacher” by Dr. Jené Walker

Teachers, how will YOU become better students of the Word? How will you encourage others to immerse themselves in the Word and live out the Word? Every opportunity you get you’re teaching about Jesus Christ. Teachers are so passionate about scriptures that sometimes you focus more on the scriptures than on the relationship with Jesus Christ. In teaching, God is the goal and Jesus is the only way. Jesus is a teacher and His authority came from Holy Spirit. Teachers, it isn’t how much we know (how smart and intelligent we are) but how yielded we are to the power of Holy Spirit. It’s about our willingness to deviate from the script and teach what the people need as Holy Spirit leads. We must be careful that we’re not always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of truth. We must make sure we don’t have the spirit of the Pharisees. We can’t be spiritually blind while teaching the blind. If there are hidden mysteries in the Word and if God’s chosen people are the hidden ones, we have to be able to see beyond the text and discern the spirit of the text to find what’s hidden and who’s hidden. We can’t allow our opinions and background to affect how we interpret and teach scriptures. Our constant prayer is for the spiritual gifts of knowledge, wisdom, and discerning of spirits. Pray for creative and innovative ways to teach people with varying levels of comprehension. The spirit of truth in us makes us an annoyance to the falsity in false teachers. Jené Walker
