“Instructions to a King: Stay Sober” by Dr. Jené Walker

A Nazarite was one who was dedicated to God from birth. As a result, he was not to drink any wine or any other fermented drink along with other requirements. The reason a Nazarite couldn’t drink alcohol was he took a vow of purity. Proverbs 31 is a famously known for the subject, “the virtuous woman.” We typically skip over the introduction of this prophecy which is a mother’s instructions to her son, King Lemuel. The Hebrew meaning of King Lemuel’s name means, “for God.” His mother the queen wanted her son King Lemuel’s life and his reign and his marriage to the virtuous woman to be in alignment with God’s will for his life. One thing she emphasized in her instructions to her son was for him to stay away from wine and liquor. She wanted her son to have the stamina of a true king. Wine and liquor can open a man up to other kinds of spirits that may cause him to fall into sin. When Noah got drunk, he exposed himself and his sons saw him naked. If we’re honest, drunkenness has caused some of us to be in some precarious situations too. King Lemuel’s mother says in Proverbs 31 that drunkenness can cause a king to forget the very laws he imposed. Drunkenness can cause a king to pervert the justice of all the afflicted. How can one reign and rule when he isn’t in his right mind?

The short-term effects of alcohol use are “slurring of speech, drowsiness, emotional changes, sleep disruption, and the lowering of body temperature. The long-term effects of alcohol use are nausea and vomiting, loss of bladder and bowel control, black outs after which a drinker does not remember what happened while he or she was drinking, temporary loss of consciousness, and ultimately a coma and death.” As if the physical effects are not enough, the portals of a man with a spirit of addiction are open to so many types of demonic oppression that can only be closed through the deliverance and healing of Yeshua. A king must be free of addiction and oppression to rule and reign effectively.

A king is one who has lordship and sovereignty in a specific sphere of influence. Every man of Jehovah who believes in Yeshua and who is ruled by Holy Spirit is a king on the earth right now. It is time to establish your kingdom. It is time to rule in your domain. But a king must be alert and of sober mind lest he is caught off guard by the enemy, the devil. A king has to be sober to open his mouth for the speechless. A king must be sober to judge righteously and make fair decisions. A king must be sober to plead the cause of the poor and needy. A king must be sober to lead his children who are joint heirs in his kingdom. A king must be sober to lead and love his wife. A king must be sober to lead the family into kingdom dominion and wealth. A king must be sober to hear what the instructions from Holy Spirit. A king must be sober to give wise counsel. A king must stay sober to make royal decrees.

Men of God, Jehovah is calling you back to your throne. Adjust your crowns and rule. Adjust your crowns and reign. Hold your head up high so your crown won’t topple. The king in you is crying to come out. That’s why you’ve been tormented in your spirit. That’s why you’ve been depressed. That’s why you’ve been in a state of confusion. Your robe is tattered and battered and torn and so are you. Your jewels are barely in their rightful position but neither are you. But God says for you to come as you are any way. You can’t stay in a position beneath your assignment any longer. Holy Spirit is speaking to the king in you. God is about to make you a brand new king with a brand new robe. God is ready to give you a feast fit for a king in the presence of your oppressors. Won’t you walk in your anointing, Proverbs 31 king? Won’t you answer your call today? Jené Walker

“Daniel Fast: Days 19-21” by Dr.J. Post 33

2017 Daniel Fast: Awakening Days 19, 20, & 21
Journal Writing Reflections: “We see idol worship as detestable to God throughout our study. How can we make sure we do not practice idolatry? Describe the awakening in Zechariah 12.”
“Discuss the 1/3 of the people who will be the remnant of God. They obeyed God no matter what. Why is our obedience now a matter of life and death? Are you in the 1/3?”
“Discuss the reign of the Messiah. How does this Jerusalem in Zechariah Ch. 14 resemble the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21?”
Days 19-21 Bible Study: Zechariah Chapters 12, 13 & 14
Week 3 Memory Verses: John 4:23-24 (NIV) & 1 Corinthians 2:13-14
Spiritual Gift: Discerning of Spirits

We are ending the final three days of our fasting study looking at Zechariah’s prophecies and a flash forward to John’s end times prophecy in Revelation 21. When all the nations (some say this is the final battle on the earth, Armageddon) come against Judah and Jerusalem, God will make Jerusalem an immovable rock and He will keep watch over Judah. Judah will consume all their enemies. The house of David will mourn for Jesus Christ. It will be a day of awakening when they clearly see the Messiah for who He is. They will grieve bitterly because they will finally see. False prophets will be punished and afraid to proclaim their ministry because of all their lies and deception. God hates idolatry and He puts and end to it. God will strike down 2/3 in the whole land (the world, earth). If you calculated 2/3 of the entire world’s population and the remaining 1/3; thsoe are frightening numbers. Only God’s people will escape the wrath of God (1/3). Finally, the Lord’s day is coming.Jesus says there will be a great split and His people will flee. Then the Lord will come and all the holy ones. On that day, there won’t be any more sunlight, cold, or darkness – no more distinction between day and night. The people who came against Israel (Jerusalem) will have rotting flesh, eye sockets, and tongues. There will be a great panic. Revelation 21:6-8 “He said to me: ‘It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.’”

The end of this fast is an opportunity to reflect on the entire fast but also on how your life should be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit operating in you. There are some things you will never do again by the power of the Holy Spirit. You sacrificed and stayed away from sinful habits for 21 days. To return to those things would be rebellion.  There are ways that you will never treat the people of God again. Prejudices and racist spirits have already been commanded to leave in Jesus’s name.  Some of us haven’t been able to receive a Word or the truth from certain prophets because of the color of their skin.

The Spirit of Racism DOES Exist

I’m declaring and decreeing that those hidden and subconscious prejudices and even hate come to the surface so we can rebuke it and be delivered in Jesus’s name. Your eyes are awakened to the synagogue of Satan and you now know the real Israel from the counterfeit. Your eyes have been awakened to the spirit of oppression, psychological warfare, whitewashing, and covering the truth (Exodus 1 & Deuteronomy 28). How can a movie be written and produced about a group of Hebrew women who computed all the Mathematical hidden figures for NASA and the world never knew about it? We are awakened to the deception and lies of Satan. You know of a great awakening to come during which God’s chosen people will have the scales to fall off their eyes and wake up to who we really are (Ezekiel 37 & 38). You know that there will be a convergence of the Jew (Hebrew Israelite) and the Gentiles when the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled (Ephesians 2, Romans 11). We have even been awakened about who we are as individuals in the five-fold ministry. As a result of of the awakening in us, we will preach and prophesy the truth God revealed or be held accountable for not speaking the truth. January 21, 2017 at 6:00 will complete the 3rd (holy number) cycle of 7 (number for completion and perfection).  God bless and prosper you always in Jesus’s name. I love you.

“Daniel Fast: Day 17” by Dr.J. Post 31

2017 Daniel Fast: Awakening

Day 17 Journal Writing Reflection
Discuss how the Hebrews have already experienced curses, “In the future.”
Why is it significant that we awaken now?

Day 17 Bible Study:
Deuteronomy 30:1-6

Week 3 Memory Verses:
John 4:23-24 (NIV)
1 Corinthians 2:13-14 (NIV)

Week 3 Spiritual Gift
Discerning of Spirits

Deuteronomy 30:1-6 (NIV)

Prosperity After Turning to the Lord
1 When all these blessings and curses I have set before you come on you and you take them to heart wherever the Lord your God disperses you among the nations,
2 and when you and your children return to the Lord your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today,
3 then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes[a] and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you.
4 Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back.
5 He will bring you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors.
6 The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

Awakening

The previous study of Deuteronomy Chapter 28, “The Willie Lynch Letter,” as well as the psychological warfare and spiritual oppression that still occurs are manifestations of the curses in our study. You can recall specific events in history and currently that demonstrate that the prophecy in Deuteronomy 28 is being fulfilled.

Deuteronomy Chapter 30 depicts the prosperity and restoration of the nation of Israel. It is imperative that the chosen people of God awaken now because when we awaken in who we are in Christ, we will truly repent and turn from our wicked ways through the spirit of repentance and restoration that God will evoke. When we repent,  us and our children, and obey Him will all our hear and our soul, then the Lord will restore our fortunes and have compassion on us. He will gather us again from all the nations.

Ezekiel 37:21-23 says, “and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.”

Our awakening as the church is imperative because we have a responsibility to prophesy to others for their awakening. Jene Walker

Romans Ch. 11:1-32

Week 3 Memory Verses:
John 4:23-24 (NIV)
1 Corinthians 2:13-14 (NIV)

Week 3 Spiritual Gift
Discerning of Spirits

The true Hebrew Israelites, Israel, are the chosen people of God. God’s chosen people were enslaved in Egypt for approximately 400 years and were enslaved again by prophetic Egypt, transported by slave ships to a nation that is “like an eagle swooping down.” Deuteronomy 28:49-50 says, “The Lord will bring a nation against you [Hebrew Israelites] from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle [nation] swooping down, a nation whose language you will not understand, a fierce-looking nation without respect for the old or pity for the young.”

Any other group of people posing as true Israel is counterfeit if it doesn’t meet the criteria that is in the Word of God. Nations, governments, or individuals that identify the chosen people of God in opposition to God’s Word are counterfeit. God has been saying for us to pay attention to what is counterfeit in this season. Everything isn’t what it seems. We are searching for answers from Holy Spirit in this season. We are seeking God for the spirit of discernment so that we can recognize the fake and the phony and the counterfeit in this season. The wool has been pulled from over our eyes during this era of awakening in Jesus’s name.

The Jews (Hebrew Israelites) during the time of Jesus were zealous for God but their zeal was not based on knowledge (See Romans 10.). Although they had and thoroughly knew the scriptures in the Old Testament and the prophesies of the coming of Jesus, that knowledge still wasn’t enough to help them to receive Jesus when He came. Is this how we view the Word of God? We read it; we know it; but when things are manifested on the earth, we just can’t receive it or believe it because it goes against what we thought it should be or what we’ve always understood; or how we envisioned it in our finite minds. When Jesus, a Hebrew Israelite, came in the form of a man, the Jews (Hebrew Israelites) expected a king who would deliver them from oppression, not understanding that Jesus would deliver them from oppression and even the sins of the world. It is imperative that we pray for the spiritual gift of knowledge and wisdom because it is possible to worship, serve, and even think we know a God of whom we have no real knowledge (See Romans 10.). The Jews refused to submit to the righteousness of God because righteousness is by faith. Their hearts were too hardened to believe the Word in flesh, even as He stood there before them.

Because of the Jew’s obstinate spirit, God chose another nation to make Israel envious. God said He would make Israel an angry nation that has no understanding (See Deuteronomy 32:21). In Isaiah 65:1, Isaiah says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.” Who are these people who would be extended the privilege of the gospel? The Gentiles. Open your eyes for the prophesy of the Jews and Gentiles who will collide all over this world in unity for the kingdom of God. That is the convergence to come. Wake up.

The Awakening

“Around 1,000 B.C., farmers learned a way to use cuttings from a tree. They discovered that branch from one tree could be inserted into a cut on another tree, and this foreign branch would become part of the new tree. This allowed for the use of a mature root and trunk system in production of fruit different from the “host” tree. The method is known as “grafting” and is an important part of orchard science today. Paul used this his insights about grafting and the olive tree to relate to the audience of the book of Romans.”[1]

Grafted in. Digital images. Accessed August 21, 2016. http://www.ziontrumpet.org.

The Remnant of Israel Romans 1:1-36
1 I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel?
3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.”
4 But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
5 So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.
6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
7 What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened,
8 as it is written,
“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes that would not see
and ears that would not hear,
down to this very day.”
9 And David says,
“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them;
10 let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see,
and bend their backs forever.”
Gentiles Grafted In
11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather, through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous.
12 Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean!
13 Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry
14 in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous, and thus save some of them.
15 For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?
16 If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches.
17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree,
18 do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you.
19 Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”
20 That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear.
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.
22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.
23 And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.
24 For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.

T-Chart of the Jews and Gentiles

Explain the differences (or similarities) between the Jews and Gentiles:

Jews

Chosen people (original Hebrew Israelites)

Enslaved 400 years in Egypt (enslaved again later by a nation like an eagle; brought in on ships)

Stumbled but will still recover when they are gathered together from all the nations the earth in the end (see Ezekiel)

Trespassed (sinned)

Failure to believe in Jesus

Will be fully included

A remnant of believing Jews

Paul hoped that Spreading the gospel to Gentiles would make the Hebrew Israelites (Jews) jealous and it would save some of them

Rejected Jesus

Acceptance of the gospel would bring them back to life because without Christ they are dead

First fruit offering (Israel God’s possession)

Root

Broken branches (to keep the tree holy)

Share in the nourishing root

Broken off because of unbelief

Natural branches (original chosen of God on the original Olive Tree)

Suffered the severity of God if they were fallen

Will be grafted in again

Cultivated olive tree

Gentiles (non Jews, all other nations of world)

Salvation came to them (gospel preached) because Jews stumbled

Received riches of salvation because of the Jews hardened hearts

Had a personal apostle, Paul

Reconciliation (receiving the gospel message) because of Jew’s rejection

Wild olive shoot (part of the sacred tree)

Grafted in

Share in the nourishing root

Warned by Paul not to be arrogant (must have felt sanctimonious because Jews were broken off and they were grafted in)

Grafted in because of faith

Experienced the kindness of God if they continue in the faith

Wild olive tree

All Israel Will Be Saved

25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,
26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written:
“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”
28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs,
29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.
30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience,
31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[h] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you.
32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
Doxology
33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[i] knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”
35 “Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay them?”
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

“2017 Daniel Fast: Day 10” by Dr.J. POST 24

2017 Daniel Fast: Awakening
Day 10 Journal Writing Reflection:
How did the devil instill fear and even hatred in Pharaoh to cause him to annihilate the Hebrew males?
Do you see this same kind of fear and hatred in today’s society with Hebrew males?
Day 10 Bible Study– Exodus 1:11-22
Week 2 Memory Verses– 1 John 4:1 (NIV) & Matthew 24:24 (NIV)
Spiritual Gift of Knowledge

The Awakening

Exodus 1:11-22 (NIV)
11 So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh.
12 But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites
13 and worked them ruthlessly.
14 They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly.
15 The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah,
16 “When you are helping the Hebrew women during childbirth on the delivery stool, if you see that the baby is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live.”
17 The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live.
18 Then the king of Egypt summoned the midwives and asked them, “Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live?”
19 The midwives answered Pharaoh, “Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive.”
20 So God was kind to the midwives and the people increased and became even more numerous.
21 And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.
22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live.”

Pharaoh and his officials realized that the more they (Egyptians) oppressed the Hebrews, the more they multiplied (increased in number) and spread (break or burst out from a womb or enclosure). Can you see that in your own life? The closer you get to birthing what God has for you, the more you’re hated by people under the influence of the devil. In the same way that the Hebrew Israelites were not broken by oppression, neither will we be. Have you been in oppressive environments with oppressive leaders before? Some leaders oppress because they were oppressed. It is a spirit. You have to begin to pray and fast and labor in the spirit against the spirit of oppression. If it has infiltrated a system and everyone in the system is affected by it, God Himself may have to move you or deliver you from the situation.

I have seen an abnormal measure of demonic oppressive activity in a specific territory or region. Most of the people who lived in the region were oppressed. Those who were oppressed struggled financially. They struggled with familial conflict or severe issues concentrated in their families. They struggled with drugs or alcoholism. They struggled with gang violence and fighting. They struggled with the desire to live at the level of God’s standards for them. Although all of us have some of the same struggles as individuals, this specific region was affected because it was under demonic attack and the oppression was spiritually infectious. Since the children were strategically located in a specific territory, the children were zoned for schools in this territory. The schools struggled with the same spiritual issues that were prevalent in the territory. Although there were pockets of success, it was a struggle to get to the level of success the children deserved. Staff, programs, and grants alone in the absence of spiritual warfare will not be able to break up the demonic activity and oppression at this magnitude or any level for that matter. Also, the enemy strategically set up people who supported his agenda to work in these places. Behind what appears to be all “social ills and socio-economic status issues” is a spiritual force working and operating in the spiritual realm to kill, steal, destroy, oppress, impoverish and ultimately annihilate a specific group of people and the body of Christ. Wake up.

The enemy has a strategic hit out on the chosen people of God and the people of God at large. The Egyptians – used by the enemy for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness in high places – loathed and abhorred the Israelites with sickening dread. They were vexed by their numbers and strength and drive and tenacity. They were sickened by the idea that although they had done everything to break the sons of Israel they could not break them. So, Pharaoh devised a plot to kill off their male children. If the males in this race of people could be annihilated, the women could not continue to produce more children without men.

Can you see (with your spiritual eyes) other Satanic attempts (political, systematic, subliminal or otherwise) to prevent the seed of God from being birthed? In a specific race of people? Do you see this same kind of attack – spiritual always and natural, which is still carried out through the devil’s spiritual agenda? Do you see any groups or individuals in society like the Hebrew midwives taking a stand for God and fearing God more than systems or leaders or wealth or brands or personal gain? We are waking up.
