“Read the Bible” by Dr. Jené Walker

Maybe this doesn’t apply to you, but it did to me – for a long time. I thank Jehovah for grace.

“We read everything to our children except the Bible. Sometimes we are busy saving the world and others and neglect to minister to our own children. Some of us pray but don’t read the Word. Some of us think it is enough to tell our children about Jesus. We spend what we consider quality time with them, but if we aren’t teaching the principles of the Word, there is no quality. We do movies and dinner and skating and sleepovers and cookouts and bank trips. They are with us everywhere we go. But are we explicitly reading the Word of God aloud to them? Begin now. Here is a regimen we can use:
1. Pray aloud.
2. Read a Bible passage aloud.
3. Discuss the meaning of the passage from both perspectives.
4. Speak confessions, declarations, and renunciations of specific evil spirits aloud.
5. Pray aloud again.
We take the time to do everything else. Do this. Our children’s lives depend on it. For our children to get the Word from church or overhearing adult conversations isn’t enough. It isn’t too late.”

“God Has a Master Plan for Our Children” Dr. Jené Walker

You’ve instilled the Word of God in your child(ren). You’ve raised him in the church. You’ve taught him spiritual warfare. You’ve taught them the difference between operating in the flesh and in the spirit. You’ve been revelatory in helping them realize their spiritual gifts and fivefold ministry assignment. You’ve been real about your mistakes and finally had the “sex talk” even if it was a little late. You’ve taken Financial Peace University together. You’ve shown them how to run the business. You’ve taught them about who they REALLY are and not the history in thewhitewashed books about us. No, you’ve taught them they are the chosen of God, true Israel. You’ve watched Roots, Amistad, 12 Years a Slave, and The Birth of a Nation Together. You’ve told them that they can be anything they want to be in alignment with God’s calling on their lives. You study the Word together. But now, you have a little doubt about if you’ve done enough…

A wonderful Facebook friend said Holy Spirit told her to tell me to call in on a prophetic line last night. A part of the “EXTENSIVE” Word God had for me on that call last night was confirmation about my child. We have to allow the promises of God for our children to converge with time and trust that God has a plan (Help me Holy Ghost). It doesn’t matter if you raised them singly or not. A and A-B honor roll is a blessing from God but Cs won’t even keep them from destiny. They will lack no good thing. The plan for your child(ren) includes all their mess ups – some more serious than others but I declare and decree that it won’t alter God’s plan for their lives. Our mess us didn’t change ours, right? PARENTS, WE ARE JUST VESSELS. GOD HAS THE MASTER PLAN FOR OUR CHILDREN. God has us and our children in His hands. The blood doesn’t work temporarily; it will cover them wherever life takes them in the name of Yeshua. Glory to God. Keep laying hands and anointing them while you still have them. Keep teaching them how to fight in the spirit. They need to know how to win daily spiritual battles too. Jené Elaine Walker

“Lay Holy Hands on Your Child(ren)!” by Dr.J.

Did you lay holy hands on your child(ren) this morning? When they leave the safety and protection of our home, we send them out into a world of darkness. Dark systems. Dark situations. Dark people. Did you pray a strategic prayer of protection? Favor? Spiritual awareness? Even your youngest needs to understand that there is spiritual activity.

Don’t let them leave your sight without your holy hands upon them. The enemy wants to take our children out. He can’t have them! Dr.J.

“You Get First Dibs” by Dr.J.

“Mama I should come to you more often [for spiritual counseling]. “Son any time- you have first dibs!”

Parents, your children are listening and watching! God gifted us with experience and spiritual wisdom! That’s a perfect and powerful combination for our children to “come to us more often.” I don’t give him any advice that doesn’t come from the Word. I put it on a hip palatable plate and serve it up. Do not let the enemy lie to you about your gift to relate to your child. Use the unadulterated truth (B I B L E) in relatable ways. Even if they depart from truth (B I B L E), they will come back to truth (B I B L E). I declare and decree the release of strongholds and barriers in our children’s lives in Jesus’s name. My son is my best friend. Dr.J.

“Go to War” by Dr.J.

When was the last time you went to war for your child? Oh I don’t mean a flesh war because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. I mean spiritual war. Lay hands, pray aloud, speak confessions aloud (God’s word adding your child’s name), Bible study…Do your own words line up with the Word of God about your children?
Do we receive everything we hear and see about our children? What the teachers say, doctors say, counselors say, psychiatrists say, people say, streets say, behaviors say, attitudes say, hairstyles say? What does God say about your child? Protect your ear gates and your child’s ear gates. We can afford to step up our war game for our children…we can’t afford not to. Satan is coming hard for them in the spiritual and natural realm. This may require us checking our own mouth gates.  It’s time to go to war for our children. The war may begin internally with you. Dr.J.

Whatever It Takes For My Son by Dr.J.

Whatever it takes! God put it on my heart a few months ago to write “letters” to my son every morning before I leave for work. When he wakes up to get ready for school, he has his own personal message (and some candy) that the Holy Spirit gives me for him every day.

I was wondering to myself how and if these letters would even impact his life (you know how the enemy attacks your mind). Well God had a sister in Christ to inbox me on Facebook. She said, “God woke me up in the midnight hour and told me to tell you to write letters to your son.” No one but my mom and a close friend even knows about that. I thought, How could she possibly know to say that? Nothing but the Holy Spirit. She said more too. That was the confirmation that I needed to keep writing letters to my son. God sent a confirming word just for me to keep planting and sowing in my son’s life in this way.

The Holy Spirit is amazing and God is so good to me. I don’t know what God is telling you to do for and say to your children this season, but just like I’m willing to obey God and minister to you, I will also do whatever it takes for my son and his spiritual growth. “Even if you can’t see the impact it has Jené keep sowing, his life depends on it.” Parents, we plant seeds into our children and God will do the rest.
