Empowerment

“From Borrower to Lender through Divine Connections” by Dr. Jené Walker

Although I have the best parents in the world, they didn’t explicitly teach me about the significance of purchasing a home. They “told” me to buy one and that it was a goal but they didn’t give me instructions. I was living in pretty expensive apartments on a starting teacher’s salary. I got joy out of moving from fancy apartment to fancy apartment because I was uninformed and “appearance” was important to me.

God sent my girlfriend Betsy to plant a seed and water it.  She said, “Why don’t you buy a condo? I’m going to buy one and we can be neighbors.” I didn’t think I could afford a condo or a down payment. She said, “What are you paying in rent?” When I told her, she gasped. She walked me through the homeowner process. God sent more angels to help me through an “easy process” of purchasing my first home. This was a turning point in my life. My mortgage for my condo was $250.00 less than my rent for my apartment with the same exact utility bills and fees.

The enemy told me all kinds of lies to keep me as a borrower and not a lender. “You should wait until you’re married again to buy.” “You don’t even know if you will live here forever and you can’t get out of that condo.” The devil is a liar. God got me in the condo. Eight years later when I sold my condo, the angel who is my realtor sold it for close to $30k more than I paid for it…  The math? Increase. Don’t believe the lies of the enemy. It isn’t too late for us (no matter how old we are). With God, all things are possible.

And parents, we can’t assume that our children understand “life” just because they see us living it. We have to strategically “teach” them about the financial principles in the Word of God in this season. A shift must take place. I thank God for the Betsy’s in the world who are obedient to God and who help propel us to the next level. I’m praying my breaker anointing all over this blog. Mindsets are shifting right now in Jesus’s name. We are lenders and not borrowers. Our wealth will be used to bless and prosper the kingdom. Everything we do is about the kingdom. Jené Elaine Walker

Grace

Today is day 9 of March 2017, the #turningpoint month. “Grace” is in my spirit. Acts 6:8-10 (NIV) says, “Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people. Opposition arose, however, from members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called)—Jews of Cyrene and Alexandria as well as the provinces of Cilicia and Asia—who began to argue with Stephen. But they could not stand up against the wisdom the Spirit gave him as he spoke.”

“Grace” in this scripture is the Greek term, “charis” which is that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness. It is the grace of speech, good will, loving-kindness, favour of the merciful kindness, recompense, and reward. 

Some of you have wondered, “How is God going to use someone like me?” Grace. You have a grace on your life that makes men loathe you. They envy you and they don’t know why. They say, “It’s just something about her that rubs me the wrong way.” They say, “I don’t know why, I just don’t like him.” But the grace on your life is impossible for man to contend with. They will try to argue with you, slander your name, oppose you, argue with you, sabotage you, take away from you, conspire against you but oh the “grace.” 

Your assignment is nothing you can do on your own but the grace will enable you to do it. The grace on your life will give you wisdom that you don’t have in your own power. It will give you eloquence of speech when you would normally stammer. It will give you an anointing that turns people’s hearts toward God. It will give you power to complete the tasks and assignments God has given you. It will make you “youthful” and energize you to do the work. Grace causes you to love people even though they have done you so wrong. It causes you to still be able to bless them and be kind to them anyway. Because of the grace and power on your life, you will perform signs and wonders. Get this in your spirit. YOU WILL PERFORM SIGNS AND WONDERS. 

Stop letting age, lack, level of education, environmental circumstances, and background limit you. The devil is a liar. This is the turning point in your life, in the world. The true worshippers, the obedient, the faithful is experiencing a turning point right now in Jesus’s name. Reflect on the grace on your life today. You need to receive it to move forward in it. Read Joshua Chapters 3 and 4 during your devotional time this week.

Settle Down Sunday and complete this Spiritual Survey
1.1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV) says, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” What are some of the sinful situations you’re involved in right now that you’re sick and tired of? You want to come OUT! You’ve tried to walk away but it has been a struggle. After reading 1 Corinthians 10:13, how does this shed light on your sinful situation? How does it give you strength to EXIT?
2. This isn’t a pretty message. I don’t hear many AMEN’S in the atmosphere but that’s ok! It’s going to save our LIVES. We can’t afford to stay in SIN, as a matter of fact, look at what 1 John 3:8-9 (NKJV) says, “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” How does this cause us to reflect on IF we are TRULY saved?
3. The Holy Spirit and SIN can’t co-exist. So imagine yourself in sin: sexual immorality, adultery, addictions, lying, deception, spirit of offense, etc. Now imagine Holy Spirit leaving us when we’re committing those sins. If it’s sex, as much protection that we’re using, we’re STILL SPIRITUALLY and PHYSICALLY uncovered because Holy Spirit will NOT bless sin. He is GONE. We are open for any and everything to happen to us. That is such a dangerous place to be. Reflect on this. What are some sins you’ve hidden from “man” but never imagined the Triune God (all three) observing you while you sin (from a distance because God can’t stand the sight of it)?
4. What specific steps within the three EXIT STRATEGIES will you complete to EXIT SINFUL situations? 1) Consecrate yourself (how?); 2) Carry out His instructions (obey the Word of God; how?), and 3) Cross over (how will you move into what God has promised you; He will cut off the barriers and overtake your enemy)?
5. As you go into next week, pray that the Spirit will convict you every time you think of sin. Say it aloud, “Lord give me my way of escape. I don’t want to sin anymore. I don’t want to be without your presence. Help me in my weakness. I am YOUR child and NOT A CHILD OF THE DEVIL.” Avoid tempting situations. Stay out of sin’s way. Avoid people who draw you in to sin. Avoid movies and music that entice you. Stop reading trashy stuff that makes you tingle. What else will you make a spiritually conscious decision to avoid?

God is waiting on us to consecrate ourselves so that He can do miraculous things in our lives. We want the miracle without the consecration. But tonight, we have BREAKTHROUGH. We now KNOW what has held us up from crossing over into His promises. The devil just lost ANOTHER spiritual battle. Our lives WILL NOT be the same after tonight. We will cross over and leave our sin and those sinful situations on the other side of the Jordan. It’s time people of God. Approximately 100 hundred million unbelievers in the US alone are waiting on US to come out! We look just like the world looks and God is sick of it. Let’s cross over into the promises of God. Prophetic Word

I just activated the Starbucks app on my phone and added money to it a few days ago. I’ve only used it two times. When I went yesterday and pulled up my app, I had a message that said “Taste of Gold Status- Free Drink.” Revelation at Starbucks! Jesus! 

This morning when I was telling my sister about it, the Holy Spirit said, “Your favor doesn’t have to take a long time.” He said “And even if you haven’t received the full benefits of your rewards yet, God is giving you a taste of the Gold Status!” Favor! Can you receive that in your spirit? I did! Stay faithful. Stay obedient. God has platinum status favor for you. I’m already seeing manifestation of His favor in your lives. Thank You Holy Spirit! 2016 Daniel Fast

Have you considered breaking your vow to God so you can satisfy your fleshly desire for food? Food will be here. But this opportunity to offer a sacrifice at the beginning of the 2016 year will never be here again. The enemy attacks your thoughts. He plants seeds of lust for food. He tempts you and entices you. He even knows the benefits of your fast. Fight to keep satan out of your thoughts. Your blessings are tied to your obedience. Stay the course. Stay the course, not only out of obedience but also for the spiritual benefits.

After only ten days of fasting, God gave Daniel and his friends knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature. Daniel could interpret visions and dreams. If you seek wisdom, ask God for it. God gives liberally to all who ask (James 1). But there is something to say about adding a fast to your prayer requests. By the end of Daniel’s training while in captivity, the king found Daniel and his friends to be ten times better than all the magicians in the whole kingdom. God will set you above and apart from all the rest. Stay obedient to God. Stay faithful to God. Keep fasting.

Daniel‬ ‭1:17, 20‬ ‭NIV‬‬ “To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds. In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.”

Think Three Times About Touching God’s Anointed by Dr.J.

Joshua 5:1 NIV “Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, their hearts melted in fear and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites.”

There are people the enemy wants to use to come against you. He knew he could use them because of the open doors of jealousy, envy, hate, or resentment they have toward you. The enemy schemed against you and plotted your demise. Then Satan planted the seed of the death plan in his chosen people.

But wait, the people never came for you.

When those people started reflecting on the power of God in your life, when they thought about every miracle God has done to bless you supernaturally, and when they recalled how God annihilated the previous group of people who tried to come against you, they no longer had the courage to be used in the enemy’s attack on you.

God doesn’t play when it comes to you. He is your protector and your vindicator. People can see the hedge of protection around you. So they should think twice or maybe even three times about touching God’s anointed. Dr.J.
