“God is Your Cheerleader” by Dr. Jené Walker

People, even friends and family, will withhold their praise from you for various reasons. They will support people in other towns, cities, states, and countries doing the EXACT same thing you do and won’t support you. People are fickle like that. So if you wait around on people to applaud you or affirm you, you will NEVER consistently walk out your purpose. They will clap with you one day and pretend they don’t see you the next. When God affirms you – “This is my daughter, in whom I am well pleased” – then you have to believe what He says and move forward in that. Some of us have been stuck and stagnant because we look for the applause. You better start that business, do your ministry, apply for that promotion, buy that mansion God showed you, get that luxury car, takeover that region. It’s time for you to dominate. Don’t wait for another person to tell you “good job.” God has spoken. Now let’s go!

“Your Mind, Stayed on Him” by Dr. Jené Walker

Isaiah 26:3 (AMPC) ” You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.”

TAB 1
How will you make sure your mind is stayed on God?

God has given us the strategies. Queens, it is really up to us to receive them and use them. God says in order for us to shift our mindset (Yes! We do have the power to shift our minds.), we have to keep our minds stayed on Him. If we do this, God will guard us and keep us in perfect and continual peace. But the moment our minds come down! Restlessness. Confusion. Loneliness. Inadequacy. Doubt. Weariness. Stop. Follow God’s instructions. Become “doers” of the Word now.

1. Commit yourself to Him – Your ways, mind, body, and your soul belong to him. “God I give my life to you. I give my marriage to you. I give my child(ren) to you. I give my money to you. I commit everything that I am and that I have to you.”

2. Lean on Him – “When I’m in ‘impossible with woman’ situations; when I can’t do anything to change my situation, I will lean on You. I lean on You at all times; but when I’m in a bad way, I will not panic. God, it’s like this – I just want to be in Your will. I can’t fix this. I can’t change this. I can lean on You and not my own understanding. All my ways I commit to You and You shall direct my path.”

3. Hope Confidently in Him – “God I wait patiently on You because I know You’ve heard my cry. I know that anything I ask in Your will, you have already changed my present circumstances and possessions.” Your hope in Him doesn’t waver. Your hope in Him doesn’t fluctuate. Your hope in Him is confident. You know He will come through for you.

It doesn’t make any sense to invest your time in reading the scriptures if the Word will fall on harden hearts. Let the mind that was in Yeshua be in you. Let this Word transform your mind. If you’re only into scripture quoting and toting but not Word changing and transforming, then you won’t be equipped to take it all back. Knock down every stronghold now. Fight with everything in you now. Settle your mind now.

“Queens Bring Other Queens To the Table” by Dr. Jené Walker

Esther 1:9 “Queen Vashti also gave a banquet for the women in the royal palace of King Xerxes.”

Theologians don’t have very many nice things to say about Vashti. As I was reviewing the book of Esther, I looked for something in Vashti that we can glean from. One thing I thought was amazing is that Vashti gave a banquet for the women. She invited other women to have a seat with her and to dine with her at the royal table. She could have been training them in certain areas of royal etiquette. She could have been sharing with them her strategic plan for the year. She could have been planning the royal calendar. She could have been helping them to discover their own gifts and calling in the kingdom. I’m assuming that her gathering was extremely important as she didn’t want to leave her banquet.

Queens, if we could only be generous in our time of elevation as Vashti and make sure that we bring other queens along with us. Our seats are secured. We don’t have to worry about “copy cat” spirits because no one can be a queen just like you. We don’t have to worry about spirits of sabotage because Holy Spirit will reveal those spirits and you don’t have to invite sabotage to the banquet. Jehovah gifted you as a queen, not to relish in the glory for yourself, but for the kingdom. It’s time to call a queendom meeting and invite other queens to the table as long as you don’t lose focus on the King. Know your worth. You are royalty. You wear the crown. You’re worth far more than rubies. You are a queen.

“I’m a Movement By Myself” by Dr. Jené Walker

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (AMP) “Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up. Again, if two lie down together, then they keep warm; but how can one be warm alone? And though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Are you a force against the kingdom of darkness by yourself? Jehovah wants to know that in your singleness and even as a married wife that you are maximizing your own kingdom assignment. We can’t become so engrossed in him that we forget our calling and election in the kingdom. That’s the test. Who are you other than “wife?” Who are you in the fivefold ministry? What is your calling in the kingdom! Grow in that. Develop in that. Work hard in that. We can get so caught up in everything else that we aren’t “going ye therefore” as God charged and commanded each of us to do. I’m a movement, a force all by myself. So when Jehovah sends my husband, oh my goodness! We are unstoppable for the kingdom twogether. Yes. Two are better than one. But how can you be the best “one” you can be for the kingdom? Jehovah will take care of the “two!” You have to be obedient as an individual believer and movement for the kingdom. Let’s go!

“Know Your Worth” by Dr. Jené Walker

Do you know who you are? Do you know whose you are? Do you know how valuable you are? Do you know how strong you are? Do you know how influential you are? Do you know the power on the inside of you? Do you know what you bring to the table? You are worth far more than rubies.

I researched the value of rubies using the International Gem Society (IGS) to get an idea of the value of rubies today. Rubies are some of the most popular gems for good reasons. “As gem-quality examples of the mineral corundum, [rubies] are exceptionally durable and one of the few gem species whose color reaches vivid saturation levels. Fine quality rubies are some of the most expensive gems, with record prices over $100,000 per carat…As of May 2015, the record price for a ruby is approximately 2 million per carat,” according to IGS. A ruby is a valuable gem!

The revelation I got about the scripture, Proverbs 31:10 is that the queen, King Lemuel’s mother, from whose perspective this scripture was written understood the value of rubies. More importantly, the queen understood the value of a virtuous and noble woman for her son the king (prince). The queen asks who can find a virtuous woman for she is worth far more than rubies. There is no question about whether or not a woman worth far more than rubies can be found. You, virtuous woman, are worth far more than rubies waiting to be seen for who you are and to be found, valued, cherished, and appreciated. Do you know your own worth?

“I Am Black and Beautiful” by Dr. Jené Walker

“She” is probably holding her head down in shame or embarrassment or insecurity because of her complexion. She says she is “lovely” but… Have you ever done that? Given yourself a compliment “but” took it right back?

Song of Solomon 1:5-6a
She
5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me:

Why do we do this? Do you struggle with accepting compliments or thanking Jehovah for the gifts you have without bringing up a flaw you have at the same time? If you can relate, would you agree that there is something on the inside that we need to get healed? We’ve been with ourselves for years so we know who we are and how we look. We should be delivered from our flaws even though they may be with us forever. The flaws are what they are and they make us who we are. But the question is, are the things about us truly “flaws” or are they unique traits that God designed to set us apart or keep us grounded? Society has influenced our opinions of ourselves so we need to get back to measuring ourselves by the true standard Yeshua and not the world’s standards.

Song of Solomon 1:15
He
15 Behold, you are beautiful, my love;
behold, you are beautiful;
your eyes are doves.

In verse 15, “he” begins to affirm his love with his words. “Behold,” he says. “Look at yourself my love,” he says. “You are beautiful. You are beautiful.” Your “husband” will affirm you over and over again. However, your insecurities about yourself will be dispelled and healed during your waiting season in the name of Yeshua. The goal during our wait is for us to allow Jehovah to reaffirm how beautiful we are. We now have an opportunity for Jehovah to work on us from now until completion. We are being sanctified daily if we’re truly walking with Yeshua. We will be whole when our husbands find us. We won’t “need” his affirmation but it will be nice when our husbands give it to us just because. Rest assuredly, the man totally surrendered to God will love you and cherish you and tell you that you are beautiful – repeatedly if need be.
