“Yea But Do You Love Like Yeshua Loves?” by Dr. Jené Walker

Luke 18:9-14, “And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.”

Sometimes, Holy Spirit will have us to do something “unorthodox” because He is about to do something unprecedented on the earth. Make sure you’re not a hindrance to what He wants to do because of your religiosity. And if He can’t use you to do it because you have a form of godliness but no power, He will use someone else. Some things are happening in the earth right now that the devil is using to further divide the body. Some things are happening in the earth right now to expose the “heart” of the “Christian.” We look at white supremacists and we can easily expose their hearts but what about our own hearts? How can we be the Salt and Light in the world but not conform? How can we evangelize without compromise? These are great questions. But Yeshua also wants to know how we can love like He does. A religious spirit causes your heart to harden and you can’t see a move of God if it hits you in the face. It causes you to miss Yeshua when He is clearly working right in the midst of you. It causes you to look at people and see their sin instead of an opportunity to win. Are we winning souls through Yeshua or shunning souls in alliance w/ the kingdom of darkness? People are observing the body closely in this hour. We can’t misrepresent Yeshua as we busy ourselves pointing the finger at people who are misrepresenting Yeshua. Let’s take a moment to seek God & reflect so we can take His stance rather than our own.

“Are You Here To Edify or To ‘Spy?'” by Dr. Jené Walker

Are you here to edify or to “spy?” The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. We must check our motives and what “we” come to do.

Some aspects of military intelligence operations involve “collection and analysis of imagery, investigations, and engaging in electronic warfare…” Satan has intelligence agents in his kingdom too; some are aware of whose army they’re in and some have no idea they are working for his kingdom. But in either case, his agents operate in the same manner as military intelligence. They are “spying” and monitoring and analyzing you and your walk so closely that their own walk is maimed and they don’t even know it. They aid the enemy in killing, stealing, and destroying the body because they operate out of intelligence and feigned wisdom and not the Spirit of God (i.e., love, gentleness, self-control, etc.). No one knows you and your heart and your journey with Yeshua like the all knowing sovereign King, Jehovah. Any other assessment of you is simply “collection and analysis” based on opinion and on what can be seen with the naked eye (flesh). If the “collection and analysis” comes from the Spirit of God, the Spirit of God will test it and prove it.

Believers, we have to regularly check our hearts, our motives, our words, our pride, and our opinions. We have to make a spiritual effort to make sure we’re not aligned with Satan’s mission which is to kill, steal, and destroy the body. We have to keep our mouths off God’s people. If our words and actions are not “truth” based on the Word of God and His Spirit then it’s just “our truth,” which is well…a natural lie. If we’re just keeping it “real” and it came from a suspicious or jealous or critical heart, then it’s just “real” ugly. If our assessment of another is based on analysis and philosophies and worldly knowledge and our own limited experiences, then all of that is foolishness to God. If our assessment is not building up the body, then it’s tearing the body down. Is THAT what you’re here for? We have to let Holy Spirit “fix” us and our hearts so the body can be healed and edified. Jené Elaine Walker

“Reel Me In” by Dr.J.

Did you get off track? That’s ok.

Holy Spirit reel us back in. We’ve gotten on a flesh track and we need to get back to the spirit. We’ve lingered in the flesh long enough. Holy Spirit convict us, correct us, reveal to us the error of our ways and get us back on track. We’ve been questioning God in our heads and hearts. We’ve allowed the spirit of depression to come on us through open portals of doubt and dismay. We’ve focused our minds on our issues instead of casting down thoughts that didn’t align with the Word. Now we’re all of track. Reel us back in now in the name of Jesus. Dr.J.

“Heart Check” by Dr.J.

So when they stared at you and gossiped about you, you made subliminal or blatant remarks about them in social media? When they talked down to you and treated you like you were less than a man, you cussed them out? See, how we respond to the vessels (people) being used by the devil to come against us shows where WE are spiritually. We ALL have room to grow, don’t we? We will take matters into our own hands and mouths in a heartbeat, won’t we? So we aren’t that different from our attackers, are we? No- not if we don’t let God handle them for us. It’s hard in the flesh- I KNOW. But there are so many Psalms to pray to help us through our attacks. Let God handle His people. There isn’t any need for ALL of us to get in trouble for being under demonic influence. The battle is spiritual. Never repay evil for evil. Romans Chapter 12 helps me tremendously. Attacks are good! They show US where WE need to grow and improve spiritually. The true test is to love our attackers. Where do we stand in love? Dr.J.

“Why Are You Offended?” by Dr.J.

I told God on someone who said something to me that offended me. The Holy Spirit told me I needed to stay humble and understand that offense is rooted in pride. He had me to reflect deeply on why I was offended. He showed me why the comment had such a sting. He reminded me that He is still my vindicator but I didn’t need to get offended by things people say or do. “God, what about the person who made that heartless comment to me?” God said, “I know the motives of her heart but let me handle her.”

This walk isn’t fleshly at all. We have to stay in the spirit and operate in the fruit of the spirit. People will knowingly and unknowingly be used by Satan to say and do offensive things to you. God just wants to know how you will respond. Offense is in the demonic family of pride. Renounce the spirit of offense in Jesus’s name. Let people say and do what they want and let God handle them. Dr.J.

“The End of the Fast, the Beginning of a Season of Spiritual Growth” by Dr.J. Post 33

This is it! God is amazing. He has brought us through a powerful 21-day journey. The journey was filled with blessings, spiritual awakening, revelation, spiritual wisdom, and spiritual attacks over which we conquered the enemy. We are victorious in so many ways.

This is a bittersweet moment as we end this fast right now. Although the fast has ended, the spiritual growth has just begun. I pray that it was a blessing to you as it has been a blessing for me being on this journey with you. Allow the Holy Spirit to continue to transform your life. Declare your own fasts throughout the year. Stay in the Word and in the Spirit. Fight using spiritual weapons. This is war! We now know how to fight harder. God bless each and everyone of you. I love you all with the love of Christ. Dr.J.

“Stripped” by Dr.J. 2016 Fast Post 32

When you are in pretty deep with God, especially during the time of a fast, He begins to “speak” to you. It was so apparent to me right before beginning this fast that God was saying to me “You still have parts of the world that you’re holding on to.” I’m looking at my life, which the world would view as boring. I’m like, “Lord what else do I need to give up?” He led me to a book to read and there the answer was right in the text. God showed me exactly what else I was still holding on to.

I began purging my house. Then later, the Holy Spirit whispered to my spirit, “Now get rid of that too.” “Jesus,” I thought. But I obeyed. I don’t know if God “whispered” to you during this fast. What I do know is that if you are still holding on to even a little bit of the world, that is sin and disobedience. We can’t straddle the fence between the world and the Holy Spirit. Things of the “world” can be the most “simple” or an “every day thing” that we wouldn’t notice in our flesh. But pray. Ask God now on the last day of the fast to reveal what you need to allow Him to purge.

Are the songs, shows, drinks, books, friends, careers in your life holding you back? Has God been waiting to truly answer your prayer but you have too much baggage and weights holding you back? The Holy Spirit will reveal it but will you relinquish it?

I can finally say, “I’ve abandoned everything I’ve ever known. My life is not my own.” This world and its “things” are meaningless to me. I give myself to You God, and the things of the world? The world can have it! Dr.J.

“Hardened Hearts Block the Peace of God” by Dr.J. 2016 Fast Post 31

Don’t let your hearts become hardened. Don’t be bitter and defiant. Don’t be angry and disgruntled about your situation. The real test of your faith and belief in God is when you can have peace about however He allows your situation to unfold. When you can say, “I know what God can do for, in, and through my situation, but if He doesn’t see fit to make a move, I trust Him completely and I receive His peace about it.” It takes the power of the Holy Spirit without a trace of flesh to really be able to receive this. But if you can make that statement, it demonstrates your level of faith.
See, we can’t make anything happen on our own. God is in control and He alone is sovereign. We have to want to be in His will. We have to totally surrender it all to Him. I was on a journey with a wife through “Instant Messenger” for about four months. I watched the Holy Spirit take her from panic to peace about her marriage. I don’t hear from her any more because the assignment is complete. She received God’s peace. I was on a journey with a woman about her finances, I watched the Holy Spirit take her from fear to faith about God’s ability to supply her needs. She received God’s peace.

God is simply remarkable. He heals and delivers suddenly. You just have to be willing to relinquish the bitterness, defiance, anger, dissatisfaction, and fear about your situation and receive the peace of God today. You just have to have faith. In Jesus’s name, we have peace today and the fruit of the spirit peace will further produce in our lives daily. Dr.J.

“Unwrap Your Gift…Over and Over” by Dr.J. 2016 Fast Post 28

Your peace is connected to your belief. If you have faith in God and believe in Jesus Christ, how can you not have peace? Jesus held out His hand and extended the gift of peace to you; He left it for you. But it is up to you to receive it, over and over again.

John‬ ‭14:1, 27‬ ‭NIV‬‬ “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

God’s peace is different from the world’s peace. Jesus says so. His peace is still and steady regardless of the circumstances. You can’t panic and have His peace. You can’t be stressed and have His peace. You can’t worry and be anxious and have His peace. When you truly believe that there is a God, a Son, and the Holy Spirit, you will accept and maintain His peace, your gift of His peace.

The world’s peace is unstable and circumstantial. The world’s peace fluctuates when the lights get turned off, when layoffs loom ahead, when spouses leave and abandon you, when illnesses and disease lurk in our bodies, when our children are being used by the enemy, and when our money is lacking.

Circumstances do not change the peace you received from Jesus. You know that even though situations change, God never does. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. So what are you anxious about? Why is your heart troubled? What are you afraid of? Every time you are under attack in any area of your life, envision Jesus standing before you with an outstretched hand. In it is a gift. The gift is peace. Unwrap your gift of peace over and over again. God is in control at all times. Dr.J.

“Occult Practices and Biblical Principles Don’t Mix” by Dr.J. 2016 Fast Post 24

When you have a spirit of doubt and you lack faith in God, you give the enemy a foothold to be able to penetrate your heart. Then, he intensifies your natural sense of curiosity which causes you to seek out answers on your own. God isn’t moving quickly enough. God hasn’t healed you yet. God hasn’t restored your marriage yet. God hasn’t healed your finances yet. So your doubting spirit and curious spirit collide. You find yourself seeking answers in places other than the Word of God, in evil and demonic places.

1 Timothy 4:1 (NIV) “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”

Your faith is weak so your obedience is too. You don’t see anything wrong with having a little fun dabbling into the occult through movies, games, books, horoscope reading, crystal balls, and other mediums. But what does the Word of God say?

Deuteronomy 18:9-14 (NIV)”When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so.”

When you think about it spiritually, when you look outside of the realm of God for answers, you have a desire to “see” into things. But faith is the evidence of things “not seen.” Please don’t play around with an entity so evil – the occult – it will have you spiritually and physically oppressed and physically sick and you can’t come out of it without a strong deliverance ministry.

Our faith is too serious to adulterate with even bits and pieces of the demonic realm. Don’t even mix practices from other religions- a little bit of Buddhism (Yoga) with a little bit of Christianity (Prayer). The enemy is slick and subtle. Stay away from accursed things. God is God all by Himself.

We’re consecrating ourselves now and there is no turning back. Keep fasting. Dr.J.
